Privacy Policy

JOE SOLUTIONS, INC. ("Joe Solutions," "we," "us") operates AlbumKo, an event photography product for hosts and guests. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in AlbumKo. It supplements the Joe Solutions Privacy Policy.

1. Who this applies to

Hosts — people who sign in with Google or Apple in the AlbumKo mobile app to create and manage events.
Guests — people who open a host's join link in a browser, take photos, and upload them without creating an AlbumKo account.

2. Information we collect

Hosts

Account identifiers from Google or Apple sign-in (user ID, email, display name).
Event details you enter (event name, shot limits, storage choices).
App Store / Play purchase metadata for entry fees and Cloud subscriptions.
Google Drive OAuth tokens when you connect Drive (stored encrypted on our servers).

Guests

A random guest ID stored in the browser to enforce per-guest shot limits.
Photos and filenames you upload through the guest web page.
Basic technical logs (IP address, user agent, upload timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use information

Authenticate hosts and link events to the correct account.
Route guest uploads to Google Drive or AlbumKo Cloud storage you selected.
Enforce quotas, shot limits, and event-wide upload caps.
Verify in-app purchases and prevent transaction replay.
Provide support, security monitoring, and service reliability.
Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

4. Where photos are stored

If you choose Google Drive, photos are stored in a folder in your Google account. If you choose AlbumKo Cloud, photos are stored in Joe Solutions–operated cloud storage (currently Amazon S3) under your host account path. Guests do not receive copies in their device gallery through AlbumKo.

5. Sharing

We share data only as needed to operate AlbumKo:

Apple and Google — sign-in and in-app purchase processing.
Google — Drive storage when you connect it.
Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, and security.
Law enforcement or regulators when required by applicable law.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention

We retain host account and purchase records while your account or event remains active and as required for billing, tax, and legal compliance. Guest shot counters and upload metadata are retained for the life of the event configuration. Photos remain in your chosen storage until you delete them.

7. Host responsibilities

If you are a host, you are responsible for informing your event guests about photography and uploads, and for complying with applicable privacy laws for your attendees.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact us at support@joesolutions.ph. Philippine residents may also contact the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

9. Children

AlbumKo is not directed at children under 13. Hosts should not collect photos from children without appropriate consent from a parent or guardian.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy, except where law requires additional consent.
